How quickly can we get set up? +
Most companies are fully set up within an hour. You register your company, get your company code, and employees download SafeTrace - Travel Safety and join using that code. No IT department required.
What happens if an employee triggers SOS? +
The security team receives an instant email alert with the employee's exact GPS location, and the live dashboard shows the active SOS alert. The team can communicate directly with the employee through the app, and once the situation is under control, mark the alert as resolved on the dashboard.
Does it work without an internet connection? +
The app requires an internet connection to send SOS alerts and check-ins. We recommend employees use local SIM cards or international data plans when travelling.
Is SafeTrace GDPR compliant? +
Yes. SafeTrace is fully GDPR compliant. Location data is only collected when employees actively check in, trigger an SOS, or activate Track Me. All data is stored on EU servers and you can delete employee data at any time.
Can employees see each other's locations? +
No. Only company administrators and security teams with dashboard access can see employee locations. Employees can only see their own status and receive broadcasts from their admin team.
Can I cancel at any time? +
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
